Greening of Industry Network - Asia Policy Forum

Preparations for the launching of the Greening of Industry Network - Asia began early in 1997, and picked up steam last February, when a team from US-AEP and GIN-U.S. traveled to Bangkok to meet with faculty from the Environmental Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University (ERIC). The Institute already had a successful record as a regional hub for environmental programs such as the global climate change �START� program, and for joint venture programs with other universities. As of February 1998, the Institute also provides office space for US-AEP�s Clean Technology and Environmental Management program.
