Mesothelioma Social Media Scholarship

Usaep.org is announcing that $1,000 in scholarship funds has been set aside for students who are in their final year of high school or in their first two years of college. These funds may be used by qualifying students to offset the costs of going to college.

The goal of usaep.org is to further awareness of malignant mesothelioma, an uncommon and aggressive form of cancer, by offering educational resources and support services to people. Military veterans whose jobs took them regularly aboard asbestos-laden naval vessels are especially at risk of developing malignant mesothelioma cancer. Mesothelioma often remains asymptomatic for decades, and when the illness does give rise to symptoms at last, it may be incorrectly diagnosed as bronchitis or another less serious illness.
